Duchy of Ferrara won't have any unique unit, but will let player an train an extra random non-outlaw mercenary. So in a given map all players will have access to train 2 random non-outlaw mercenaries in addition to additional 2 random mercenaries enabled by duchy of ferrara Alliance (total 4 merc). Additionally, Ferrara techs will let the player upgrade any mercenary to guard level on age IV in addition to other tech benefiting non-outlaw mercenaries.

A class of new units will be introduced in the King's Return called "Nobility & Upper Class". A Nobleman is an advanced version of the most European infantry units. The Patronage of Art will support more nobility class units. Delivers an Italian Statue : The Patronage of Art will attract more nobility to your city. Statue can create (ability) nobility class by swapping regular unit into their equivalentnoble class (improved versions of regular units). Additionally, the Statue will increase all nobility hp & dmg by 5%.

Delivers an Italian Musician : (Ability) The money spent by nobility on music & festivals will let you increase your income. the musician will temporary let nobility generate gold for 1 minute (nobles near the musician will have increased gold gather rate).

Delivers a Status that can be only built near consulate. The Statue will enable consulate to auto generate export as long as you have the statue. wealth generated by Chinese & Indian exports will create powerful nobility class (same effect as patronage of art).
