Overview

Persecuted,  oppressed,  and often expelled from their homelands in Europe to find new home in other less repressive countries.
Often, many legal restrictions were placed upon the  Jewish communities preventing them from certain activities. Nevertheless, they were able to thrive and form a powerful merchant & banking sectors.
Any Civilization can ally with Jewish Community except for Spanish & Portuguese (remember they were expelled from Spain & Portugal during the Spanish Inquisition).

Jewish Merchant
Cost : 125 Coin

A merchant will be a newly introduced unit with totally new concept rather than being just another villager with a different name. A merchant unit in general will sacrifice a small percentage of its resource gathering rate for gold. Whenever a merchant is gathering resources, gold (coin) will be auto-generated at a certain rate (the logic behind it is simple, merchants sell goods for money!).
Jewish Merchant is a villager-type unit with 20% less gather rate for all resources. However, the merchant will auto-generate coin  at rate of 0.36 per second (the 0.36 rate is actually 3 times of the sacrificed 20% gather rate for gold i.e. 0.6 & 20% 3).

Loan
Borrow 500 gold for 100 gold

Borrow 500 gold crate for an initial payment of 50 gold. The borrowed money will be pledged against 35 population housing (i.e. it will take 35 of your population housing). You can repay the borrowed money at any timewith additional interest of 50 gold. Additionally, you can also delay the payment for a one minute and an additional cost of 50 gold (technically the 35 pop will be removed temporarily for 1 minute).

Large Loan
Borrow 1000 gold for 175 gold

Borrow 1000 gold crate for an initial payment of 100 gold. The borrowed money will be pledged against 70 population housing (i.e. it will take 70 of your population housing). You can repay the borrowed money at any time with additional interest of 75 gold. Additionally, you can also delay the payment for a one minute and an additional cost of 75 gold (technically the 70 pop will be removed temporarily for 1 minute).

Improved Merchandise Market

Lower market sell/buy factor by 20%.

Blood Libel (unique for European Civilizations only)
Cost: 50 Gold

Accuse the Jewish Merchants of kidnapping and murdering the children of Christians to use their blood in Jewish religious rituals. All Jewish merchants you own will be killed immediately. Each killed Merchant will contain a resource of 100 coins (that's 80% of the original cost of training a Jewish merchant)..
